“Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are such meaningful and intimate times. My hope to be able to help women transition into motherhood feeling knowledgeable, confident, and supported. I am excited to be able to bring these much needed services to the families in my community. ”
- Sierra Smith Johnson

Sierra Johnson, wife, and mother of three and owner of Call The Doula + Rising Moon Apothecary.  I have been a birth worker since 2019. Having a home birth had such an impact on me and showed me how much preparation women lack going into labor and how much care new mothers should have following birth. Experiencing my first home birth inspired me to help other women feel confident and empowered throughout birth, no matter the type of birth. I have since incorporated herbal healing, and alternative healing into my care. Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are such a meaningful and intimate times and I hope to be able to help women transition into motherhood feeling knowledgeable, confident, and supported. I am excited to be able to bring these much needed services to the families in my community.

Caroline Stallings, happily married and mother to a beautiful baby girl, Margo. I have a passion for the miracle that is childbirth and I look forward to helping others during their birth experience. I wasn’t aware of how much knowledge I lacked in the realm of pregnacy, birth, and postpartum, going into my own own birth experience. I look forward to teaching and guiding other expecting mothers to help them have the best childbirth experience possible and understand all of their options.

“If you aren’t aware of all of your options, then you won’t have any options.”

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.”

"In our lives, we have seasons of giving and seasons of receiving... As a new parent, you are in the season of receiving." -Birdie Meyer

I’m Mattie - a social worker, turned stay at home mom, turned postpartum doula with a passion for supporting mothers. As a survivor of postpartum depression who felt alone and afraid as a new mom, I want to ensure that other mothers don’t have to walk the path of motherhood alone.

Matrescence (the transition into motherhood) is one of the most profound shifts in a person’s life. There is so much movement and growth during that season. My goal is to provide a sense of grounding, warmth, and confidence in the midst of all of that change.

I spend my free time hosting events for my grassroots community organization, Cenla Playdates + Mom Breaks, serving on the board at Treehouse Children’s Museum, and drinking every cup of coffee I can get my hands on. Rest and reset. You deserve it!

“Strong mothers are not born - they are supported, encouraged, and believed in.”

My name is Gracen Pierce, and I am a wife and mother of 3. My journey into this work is deeply rooted in both my personal experiences and my calling to care for others. I am currently pursuing a career in nursing, driven by a genuine desire to serve and support individuals and families in meaningful ways. I feel especially drawn to walking alongside mothers during pregnancy and childbirth. As a doula, I am committed to helping women prepare their mind, body, and soul for the incredible experience of bringing life into the world. I believe every mother deserves to feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout her journey. It is truly an honor to be part of such a transformative time in a family’s life. I look forward to caring for and supporting the mothers in my community with compassion and presence.
